This morning’s stellar breakfast:
I love Starbucks coffee. I used to have quite an addiction but I have learned to make my coffee at home each morning (Starbucks House Blend!!). Once or twice a week, though, I grab a coffee after the gym if I haven’t had the chance to make it at home first. I know, reusable mug…I’m trying.
Foam!!! Grande non-fat misto. I usually opt for soy milk to avoid the dairy issues but Starbucks in the Northeast only has sweetened Vanilla soy milk – wayyyyy too much added sugar, particularly for 7am. Mistos don’t have very much milk so my tummy stays pretty happy with the regular non-fat.
Believe it or not, the point of this post was not to declare my love for SBs’ caffe. I really just wanted to prove my mother wrong. Remember this? My mom wasn’t so sure it would become a tasty meal but I promise I would not steer your wrong. Look at this ooey, gooey, doughy banana goodness, topped with creamy almond butter and crunchy granola. Exactly what I wanted after a hard strength training workout and the perfect compliment to my misto!
Give it a try, Mama. I only eat yummy things!
